The Cordell House

The Cordell House is in Houston, and that was the first sign that it felt right.

I must have seen it in Dwell, although I mostly used to just look at the pictures in that magazine, so I guess I missed the hometown part.  Coming across it the second time, in a fit to find a solution to our housing woes, was when it hit me…cool things can happen here.  Cool things ARE happening here.  A Houston developer–someone that knows our soil, weather, and urban issues–using sustainable, recycled, industrial materials to create a gorgeous, affordable, unique home?  I’m all about it.
