Party Deck

From our future roof deck, you can see the downtown skyscrapers to the left, and the park and bayou to the right.   I imagine we will have many parties up there, and the need for a sturdy railing is definitely a concern.

The railings above and below are made from wire and metal, and they kind of disappear, allowing you to take full advantage of the surroundings.

These images above and below are wooden deck railings in two different styles.  This is probably the most economical way to go with railings, and they would weather over time with the deck.  I think I’d be cautious and go with the more solid side below…plus, it’s perfect for built-in benches.

The railing on the deck above is fancier and made of glass and metal.  I doubt we go this way, but it’s great for a view.
